Activities . . .
Through our Spring Plant Sale and Garden Boutique and other fund raising activities, we are able to raise funds to award a Horticultural Scholarship and to reach out to the community through various programs.
In partnership with the Shade Tree Organization we are helping to reforest Lake Forest.
Our members are now working with Saddleback Hospice. Flowers from our gardens are delivered to be given to patients in hospice care each month.
LFGC is known for being a community of caring friends. Members are always willing to reach out and do whatever needs to be done to help other members who need them.
We work to beautify our community and to educate and inspire others through our love of gardening.
At our monthly meetings we invite guest speakers to share their knowledge and love of gardening with us and to inspire us with new information.
Field trips throughout the year include destinations such as Sherman Gardens, Descanso Gardens, The Huntington Library and many other local nurseries and gardens.
We host an annual Holiday Party, which is a potluck luncheon and gift exchange.
Several members share their gardens with us each year in a spring Garden Tour.
In February we have an English Tea.
We work throughout the year propagating plants and creating unique garden items for our Spring Plant Sale and Boutique.
Need help in your garden? Not a problem! Our club has several groups of garden co-ops members can join to help each other accomplish a variety of gardening tasks while having fun working together.

One of the club's Busy Bees Group enjoyed a proper afternoon English Tea at the lovely home of member Cynthia Stopforth. Cynthia also has a beautiful English garden for guests to enjoy.

Installation and End of the Year Party June 13, 2008
Annie Hall Bosche was the recipient of the 2007-2008 Bouquet Award for her outstanding dedication to and participation in the Garden Club. Congratulations Annie!!!!
On June 13, the Garden Club held its annual end-of-the-year party and installation of officers for the next year. Two $1000 scholarships were also awarded to two deserving students in the field of horticulture.
