Our Philanthropic Activities
At our monthly meetings, we invite guest speakers to share their knowledge and love of gardening with us, and to inspire us with new information.
Throughout the year our destinations include, for example, Roger's Gardens, Kimberly Crest, The Huntington Library and many other local nurseries and gardens.
We host an annual Holiday Party which is a members only potluck luncheon.
Several members share their beautiful gardens each year during our Annual Spring Garden Tour.
Every February we host a traditional Old World English Tea for members only.
The Joy of Gardening:
We work throughout the year propagating plants and creating unique garden items for our Annual Spring Plant Sale and Boutique.
Each year we have a Spring Plant Sale & Garden Boutique as our major fundraiser which benefits our local community with Horticultural College Scholarship Awards and reaching out to the community through some fun programs.
In partnership with the Shade Tree Organization, we are helping to reforest Lake Forest.
Our members are working with Saddleback Hospice to deliver much-appreciated flowers from our gardens to their patients every month.
Our Garden Club is known for being a group of caring friends. Our members are always there for each other, willing to reach out and help other members in need.
We work tirelessly to help beautify our community and to educate and inspire others through our mutual love of gardening.
